Mystic River Trailer

This trailer can give our production influence for example the use of water can be used as connoting message of innocents. The transformation of the water i.e. colour change, this will reflect the ideology and beliefs of water properties. The paces of the transactions between scenes are very slowly during the beginning to match the appropriate atmosphere however vice versa. The music changes to connote the atmosphere of the scene and influences the audiences’ attitudes towards the scenes. Narrative can be an effective tool especially when the Protagonist’s voice is used to narrate the storyline of the trailer or a mature voice to give narration value and depth. Throughout the trailer through is a variety use of lighting i.e. High/Low key lighting which matches the scenes’ atmosphere. Also there is a variety use of camera angles to give the audience the different perspectives of the issues raised during the trailer.

Progress Report - Jason Saab

Individual-
last week, i started to get ideas for our acting in the movie trailer we will be making and started directing shots to see if they worked or not. i got help from other people in the group on how to direct the trailer.

Group-
As a group, last week we all done a fair bit of work. we all came up with ideas/shots for our trailer and all had a chance at using the camera to direct. some of us even acted to see if it worked.

Action Plan-
This week, our plan is to start filiming shots and to make a timetable in order to film this movie trailer.

Progress Report - By Nida Shah

 This week i created a mock poster for the trailer. I added in many characteristics and analysed a few other posters which were similar  to our genre. We compared theses posters and made similar edits to our poster.


Next week i plan to make more edits to the poster and start filming some scenes which are more convineate .

Last week , we started to film a couple of scenes to get a general idea on how we would of shot our trailer.

Jason Saab - Progress Report

Individual-
Last week i think i worked pretty well as our group got issued the camera and the tripod and i took full responsibility of taking both items home. We finished out story board fiunal draft in the lesson and so i went on to looking how to use the camera at home and took different camera shots etc.

Group-
Last week i think the group overall worked really well. the reason i think this is because we finished our finnal draft of our storyboard and were ready to start filiming. we all contributed really well to the story-board and nobody was left out or had a small role.

Action Plan-
This week our plan is to look over the story-board one last time and see if everything is correct, then start using the camera and getting used to it so that we can start filming fr the trailer.
